I think my hottest FFXV take is that Luna and Noct loved each other, but they weren't /in/ love, you know? There's a reason Prompto calls it a marriage of convenience. Caring for someone and loving them doesn't necessarily equate to romantically loving them

Ignis maps out their expenses one night, budgeting for curatives and ingredients to get in Lestallum only to find the next day that his math was thousands of gil off. He catalogues the items in the armiger and wonders how one of Regis’s canes got in there, wonders how an old pair of glasses managed to go nearly opaque sitting in a pocket dimension for long enough he forgets ever owning them.

Gladio reaches into the armiger for his usual outfit one morning only to find it smeared in daemonic miasma and grime. And he’s not the most observant person in the world sure, but the fishing rod Noct pulls out today is much, much fancier than anything he’s ever owned before.

Prompto wonders often if the sorrow in Noct’s eyes was always there, wonders if he wasn’t quite paying attention the day Noct managed to grab a trident or why when he reaches into his pocket he pulls out an elaborate talisman that he’s never seen before

All three wonder why Noctis will sometimes, in quiet moments on the road or winding down at camp, assure them of their positions. That Gladio is the best shield he could ask for, that Ignis is beyond capable no matter what (and that Ignis has sacrificed so much already- he needn’t sacrifice any more), that Prompto is the best friend he could have and come hell or high water he wants him at his side. It’s out of character for him, but… not bad. No. Not bad at all

Ff15 group has the most realistic portrayal of friends ever. Tne banter, the way they interact with each other, the jokes and the little comments and quips - they're everything to me. Their dynamics are spot on too.

Unlike a lot of video games I've played, the group in ff15 actually feel like natural friends who like each other rather than something forced for the plot. I love it. It's so refreshing to listen to and see how each person has their place and their own roles within the group.

@ignoct-week day 2 down.

I was gonna do selkies last ignoct week, and now I have lmao! I am still entranced by the ocean, don't get me wrong. this will make more sense than ignoct iterators (ignocterators), I'm sure.

What is Noctis holding? Where did Ignis get those scars?? are they meeting for the first time, did they forget each other, or is this a reunion a long time coming???? (okay they're meeting again after a long time apart, Ignis has been Training to hold his breath while swimming so he could keep up if he ever saw Noctis again.)

I gave Ignis an implied wetness, and I probably could've done more but I liked how his hair looked so I left it at that and a few droplets. also shoutout to me for scribbling in a background, I basically never do that. XD

I am not at the point where I can sit and color though, that's beyond my ability to focus right now. If I tried, this wouldn't be posted until like next year, so. I scribble in some color and call it done!
